How do I update employees’ details?

If by any chance you want to correct a mistake or you need to update any employee information previously inserted, you can either do it from your Kota account or request our team to do so. It will depend on the data you'd like to modify.

From your Kota account

Log in to your Kota account and head to the People page. Click on the pencil icon next to the person's name you'd like to edit. Here you can change the following details:

  • Role

  • Start date

  • Payroll ID

  • Salary

  • Tax ID

  • Date of birth

Request to Kota

For the data below, you'll have to contact us via chat or email ([email protected]):

  • Surname

  • Address (postcode, country, etc.)

  • Work email address

⚠️ If you have your HRIS integrated with Kota, only some fields will be updated automatically in Kota when you change them in your HRIS. That’s the case for changes in your employees’ work email, role, salary and termination date. If you’d like to make any other change (e.g. address), please contact us at [email protected].
