A payment method is required to create a benefit in Kota's platform, and this payment method will be used to charge for the benefits you create for your employees.
You can add your payment details on the 'Billing' page of your employer account, or when creating your benefits.

A payment method must be always linked to a billing entity (the organisation responsible for paying for the benefits)and a billing region (EUR or GBP region). As so, when you add your payment details for the first time, you'll have to create first your billing entity, and then specify its respective payment method details.

You might want to add more payment methods if you prefer to pay for different benefits from different accounts or legal entities.
When creating a benefit, on the billing entity page, don't accept the pre-checked option, and click instead on the button '+ create new entity' and fill in all the requested information. Alternatively, you can do this from the Billing page. Click on the button 'Add Payment Method' (if you wish to create a payment method to the existing billing entity that doesn't have one yet), or on 'Create Billing Entity' (if you wish to add a payment method belonging to a new entity - likely if you have a global team).

Select the existing billing entity missing payment method and confirm all the previously saved information. Now, you'll be able to insert its payment method.

Select the billing region and country of your entity and insert all required information. Then, you'll be able to insert this entity's payment method details.

In case you'd like to correct your payment method details, Kota allows you to overwrite the information previously inserted. When you go to your Billing page and click on your billing entity, we only display the last 4 digits of your card/IBAN; we're unable to show you the full payment method details as we don't store that information in our own database. For your own security, when you insert your payment details, we directly save them in Stripe - our payment partner.
Therefore, to edit your existing payment method, click on the pencil icon next to your payment method and fill in all the details. This will be linked to the billing entity you selected in the step above.
If you'd just like to modify details on your billing entity such as the VAT number or billing address, you can do so by clicking on the pencil icon on the 'Billing Details' box, also on the Billing page.
