Why can't Irish Life find my pension policy, even though it's active in Kota?

Once you enrol in an occupational pension scheme through Kota's mobile app, your pension is active. Which means, your pension contributions will start being charged, and vested for you on the same month that you sign up for your pension.

โ€‹You might be wondering why you can't see any of this information on Irish Life's portal...

It's important to note that Irish Life takes approximately 12 to 16 weeks to administer the pension scheme. This means that during the first months after enrolment, even though you'll be already contributing to your pension pot, this information won't be retrievable in Irish Life's online platform - Pension Planet.


Once the scheme is fully administered, you will receive an email with log in details for your personal Pension Planet account, where you can see and manage your investment in detail.ย
