If you're on an Irish occupational pension scheme and you've paused your pension contributions in the past, but are now ready to start contributing again, you can make that reinstatement from your mobile. Just open Kota's mobile app, go to the Retirement section and tap on the 'Continue saving now' button.

For UK pension schemes, you need to restart your contributions from your Smart Pension's account.

Note that you might also be automatically re-enrolled into the scheme during your employer's mandatory re-enrolment process (which normally occurs every 3 years), depending on your eligibility status at that time. If that's the case, you'll get a notification from Smart Pension or your employer within six weeks of the re-enrolment date. You then have the right to opt out of the scheme for one month from the date of the re-enrolment letter.
