What do I need to do for payroll concerning UK pension?

As an employer providing a pension scheme to your staff, you will be responsible for uploading contributions to Smart Pension month to month and you must ensure these figures are up to date and correct as of your payroll run. 

You are required to provide Smart Pension with payroll information before the last working day of the month (ie, your should communicate November’s payroll before the last working day of November). If you need to make any corrections to previously submitted information, your should respect this same timeline.

You can either do that via a PAPDIS file exported from your payroll software, or via a direct API link if your payroll platform supports it (recommended).
